Bowen Malek

Hi!
My name is Bowen Malek, and I have been in the banking/mortgage industry for 21 years, and I have spent the past 11 years with the First State Bank. I work out of the Victoria and Ganado branch locations. Prior to banking,  I spent the early years of my career in the education profession serving as a teacher, coach, and administrator on the secondary level for Edna ISD, Elgin ISD, and Smithville ISD.
I am a graduate of The University of Texas @ Austin and my hobbies include following my two kids in their endeavors which include music and golf.  My daughter is a freshman attending Belmont University in Nashville on a music and performance scholarship and my son is freshman at Industrial High School where he plays golf.  My beautiful wife and I are celebrating 25 years of marriage and we reside on the family ranch in El Toro.
